About
Grace Kelley weaves traditional fine arts with modern sensibilities, creating work that explores self-identity, intimacy, religion, and the environment. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Kelley’s practice centers on oil painting and sculpture, where she distorts figures and integrates organic shapes with bold hues to express complex emotional states. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on their inner landscapes, embracing the beauty in imperfection and the rawness of personal growth.
In addition to her studio art, Kelley is trained in clay automotive modeling and woodworking design. Her experience in sculpting 1:4 scale vehicle models and crafting functional objects in wood and mixed media adds a dimension of precision and material fluency to her practice. Whether modeling from industrial sketches or fabricating original mirror sculptures, Kelley navigates the intersection of form, utility, and emotion with intention and care.
Through this multifaceted approach, her work becomes both a tactile exploration of design and a vivid mirror for introspection—fostering connection through the dynamics of color, structure, and storytelling.
